Circuit of the Americas joins Green Sports Alliance

pubDate Circuit of the Americas is the newest member of the Green Sports Alliance, a nonprofit organization composed of over 40 professional and college sports teams and 90-Cooler Sports Venues with a mission to help sports teams, places and ENHANCE League for its environmental performance. Circuit of the Americas will be the first Formula One Racing Fund to become a member of the Alliance.

“Tour of the Americas and the City of Austin has taken a strong position with its sustainability plan for sports and entertainment,” said Martin Tull, executive director of Green Alliance Sports. “We welcome the Tour of the Americas in the Alliance and look forward to working with them.”

The Green Sports Alliance is a unique coalition of professional sports teams and venues, sports, the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Bonneville Environmental Foundation, in collaboration with the Environmental Protection Agency of the U.S. and other environmental experts and green building.
